Adobe Photoshop plugins
Adobe Photoshop functionality can be extended by add-on application software called Adobe Photoshop plugins or plug-ins.
Adobe introduces
few plugins, such as Adobe Camera Raw, but third-party companies develop most
plugins, according to Adobe's specifications. Some are free and some are
commercial software. Most plugins work with only Adobe Photoshop or Adobe
Photoshop-compatible hosts, but a few can also be run as standalone
applications.
Different Types of Adobe Photoshop 'Plugins
There are different kinds of plugins,
such as selection, color correction, filter, export, import, and automation.
The most popular plugins tool is the filter plugins that are allocated under the
Filter menu in Adobe Photoshop. Filter plugins can also modify the present
image or to create content. There are few popular kinds of plugins tools, and

software that was supplied free by Adobe corporations. It used primarily to read and process raw image files so that the
resulting images can be processed by Adobe Photoshop. It can furthermore
be used within Adobe Bridge.
